What Is Uranium and Why Do We Need It?

Uranium has been used traditionlly, because it satisfies a lot of the requirements. Uranium is fisile, meaning if you hit it with a neutron, it will split in half and produce more neutrons. There's more uranium than plutonium, for example, which is almost non existent in the earth's core.
