The Ability to Use Conditional Probabilities to Infer Causal Structure
Even eight month olds are extremely good at doing probability and statistics. The children seem to be able to do things like use conditional probabilities to infer causal structure from the time they're two or three years old, which is really amazing. Some people might be thinking, well, gosh, that's only if it's not for all kids. But I think it's important to say that in the nurturance it means having people around you who love you and care for you.
