The Importance of Executive Functions in ADHD

ADHD symptoms of impulsivity and attention and hyperactivity can start to trigger behaviors as they face new challenges. As parents, you're supposed to be helping them get through this. So it's really important to understand that we use executive functioning common language when talking with our kids. By understanding our students wagging executive function skills or areas of need, we can teach them how to advocate for themselves in the real world.
