Is Ponography a Question of Obscenity?

Ponography has always been, among many other things, a very difficult question because it does seem to touch on fundamental issues of freedom. But mc kinnan says it's not a difficult question because we should remember that the state exists to protect us from violence. And so if ponography is not actually a question of obscenity, we have other laws that we can use to deal with it. We do not have to assume it's about people's rights to express themselves or enjoy themselves. Mc kinnon's argument is that pornography is more like human trafficking than it is like freedom of expression.
