Is There a Gliding Path to a Negative Rate?
I wouldn't be surprised to see out of negative rates sometime in the first half for the Bank of Japan. The trajectory that's currently in place suggests that there'll be very little problem getting there. We need to see how the first quarter shapes up in Japan we need to see what the impact from a reversal of the yen if and when it eventually occurs is going to be for inflation in Japan. Have you changed your treasury goal off the back of this?
