Introduction

Dr. Tina Payne-Brasen just published a book this week called The Bottom Line for Baby. Using parenties, which used to be called motheries when I had little babies for me, extend our vowels and we say, oh, look at the doggy. Decades of research are saying you should absolutely do it. There's like no question about the bottom line on that. It helps them with rhythm and rhyming. Sets them up for reading and all kinds of things like that.
