Microaggressions Are a Big Issue in the Bay Area
"I grew up in the Bay Area so it's like Asian Central I really didn't experience too many things but I did have the thing of like for some reason when I was young I feel like a lot of people didn't know where Korea was," she said. "Now that I'm older and K-pop and BTS is like a thing I feel like I don't need that added explanation anymore." She says social media has its own issues but at the same time, being aware of microaggressions can be beneficial.
