Sydney Sweeney plays Roo, a 16-year-old heroin addict. She was born on 9/11 and has an anxiety disorder. Her father died of cancer so she turned to drugs when he was dying. The show is too old for high school but it raises the stakes by showing children going through debaucherous things that are happening to adults.
