The Miracle Has an Expiration Date
When was the tie? When did they finally eat? Remember when jesus says, as enwe have any food to share. Ah, same thing's happening here. In verse 17, it came to pass after these things. Now the story could have ended there in verse 16,. It still would make this widow of zar fath one of my absolute heroines. But you remember what elijah had said, the miracle has an expiration date. There will always be meal in that barrel and always oil in that cruse, until the day that rain falls again.
