The Importance of Separating Jesus From the Multitude
They feared the multitude because they took him for a prophet. So even though they get it, it's going to become a self-fulfilling prophecy. The wicked take the truth to be hard for it, cut them to the very center and they're cut deep. They want to return the favor then and cut Jesus down to size. But all these multitudes, we got to somehow separate him from the multitude,. Get him in a place where the people won't be around to defend him. I don't know, maybe under cover of darkness, maybe in some lonely garden at night ... but not now, not here, not among the multitude.
