Homo Antecessor - The Oldest Human Being
Homo antecessor, as a species, has existed from about two million years ago. We have not found any remains of homo antecessor in the british isles. What was found at haysborough, were footprints and tools. But there's no way that we could tell the sex, the gender from one broken bone and two teeth. So it could be box grove women, but this, the mass of the bone suggests someone robust. The estimates are of somebody heavily muscled, maybe weighing around thisa 14 stone, 90 kilograms,. Quite big, quite powerfully built. And they're known as box grove man.
