Quantum Theory - Axioms on Quantum Information

Quantum theory offers another way to generate states of partial information through entanglement. When a quantum system gets entangled with its environment, some information about the system itself is inevitably lost. Even in principle, by focusing on just the system, then you're forced to speak in terms of probabilities. Scandolo has proposed four axioms about quantum information that are required to obtain a sensible thermo dynamics without probabilities.
