Facebook's Biggest Acquisitions

In 2012, Facebook announced it would acquire the Photo Focused Social Network Instagram for a whopping $1 billion. The next huge purchase was in 2014 when it bought WhatsApp for a staggering $19 billion. And there are many, many more acquisitions that Facebook did over the years. Some were recently reversed, take Giffy, an online database and search engine for animated GIFs.
