The End Game of Russia's Strategic Arms Reduction
Russia has withdrawn from start the Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty though they have promised that they will not add quantitatively to the numbers of their nuclear warheads. There are Ukrainian military maneuvers this evening on the border with Transnistria, a breakaway republic of Russian speaking people from the breakaway Republic of Moldova. The Ukrainians clearly intend to invade at the very least to sack the place of armaments of ammunition which by all accounts they are in desperate need of. If they do, there will be a new war. War not just in Ukraine but war in Transnistrian and presumably in Moldova also. This will be an incendiary escalation of the gravest possible kind.
