The Inciting Threat and the Inciting Attack
I think about John's sidesteping responsibility to take action at the level of the threat. And he doesn't address the threat directly. He just is trying to be like, all right, let's move on with our lives. Then that actually develops into the inciting attack. The hero lashes out and I put well, the whole movie is him lashing out, but he goes after Joseph to kill him.
