What Is Color Blindness?

Our brain is looking for the differences in colour rather than the total amount of colour ever all. We have three types of cones which have molecules in them called opsins. And those opsins are tuned to pick up specific wave lengths of light. When we showed a lot of blue on your retina, when we then show a grayish color, the yellow will be much stronger in that blue yellow color opponent channel.
