Doom dogma has worked its way into english language teaching somehow. It started on a forum, so i guess in ta way, it's like the first internet base. A lots of teachers sort of talking about teaching, expressing their frustration with coarse books. Then it led to luke meddings and scotombris, a sort of seminole worknd,. They wrote a bookca, a teaching unplugged. And so basically, yes, about teaching without any aid. The teacher has the knowledge, and has a lot of knowledge, not just of the language, also different ways of explaining language.
