The Second Generation Maintains It

Gray: First generation has these ethics of sacrifice, and they tend to codify that. It's passed onnow, they teach their kids this. They teach the institution, i these valleys, this is why we did it. And almost the ethic they have is service. So you want to keep in some ways. The first generation comes up with some sort of social technology or some kind of idea which makes a difference in the world. But second generation mantains it. I think institutionalizations are much more developmental. It's not a finary thing.
