Is There a Threat?
Fear is not really useful to you if it only teaches you to just run away. What we need to do with fear instead is interrogate it a bit more and find out if it's actually founded. Say you haven't invited to that party. You don't know and you're scared to find out that the possibility is that was intentional. But maybe actually, it was an oversight. Maybe there is a seed of truth in something that you've heard that you might want to listen to. And I also don't think there's anything wrong in opting out from the off.
