A lot of the things that are still question marks to day around this whole case come from expert testimony that was given at trial. Maybe he was already dead when they gave him the chloroform. Chloroform is not ammable, so it would have hung around. So there are still instances when expert witness testimony is later revealed to maybe not make any sense a and has led people to be unjustly incarcerated.
