Should a Robot Have Rights?

A robot that would act as an assistant to some one who was caring for somebody in their own home. Not a carer robot, but an assistant, which wouldas most cares looking after people with dementia,. often their partners or their children and often have trouble even getting out of the house. So i'd love to see that - it's not something you are going to see to morrow, but i think that would help people in very stressful situations. And this leads to what you mention about er when somebody said, well, a robot has a citizenship. Yes, for sure, thos are really important questions for us to ask and hopefully answer.
