The Ming Porcelain Bed of Henry VIII
Henry VII's bed was found in a car park. It had been part of the hotel and they were selling it off to an auction house. The builders that removed it from the hotel just left it on the side for trash. In 1842, this guy called George Shaw bought it but didn't know what he had. He ran a woodworking shop which made fake Tudor furniture. So it ended up at the house of Thomas Stanley, who was the Earl of Derby. This historian Jonathan Foyle is making a film about it.
