The False Engagement of the American Academic Left
I think that the left on the contrary perceives itself as a radicalization of liberalism. And even worse, it's a kind of a totally depoliticized liberalism. What I hope we agree here is that instead of politics, we get legalism and moralizing. The truly subversive thing is not to be violent to do nothing. That maybe, maybe it's a very modest proposal. But your reaction is not to step back. No, I think in thinking, in thinking, we need to think about what goes on.
