Why Do We Need Credit for Our Ideas?
I have the same impulse to take ownership of my ideas. It would be very difficult, if not impossible, for me to have finished any project that hi've done without using other people's ideas on even just vaguely in a permissionless way. I think it's a respect thing. Human beings are we we value, we value our own labor. And that includes inte intellectual labor. If you were carpenter and you literally physically built something with your hands, then you want credit for it because there's value in that. So for someone else to take it without credit, let alone taking it without credit and then profit from it, that is, that's, that's not cool.
