Bolivian military mobilized a team to climb the mountain, but it had to turn back because of avalanche danger. A Bolivian climber named Bernardo Geraci did make it up there, two days later. He didn't take any pictures at the crash site; no one really even knew who sent him. All he would tell investigators is that he recovered nothing of value.
