The Parallels Between BTC and the Euro
The Fed is still valuing its gold at $42 an ounce in its balance sheet. The idea was that you had a central bank that would be independent of the state and not have a finance minister on the same level. Of course, we know that many things went wrong and it's not it didn't happen that way but that was the idea. And today, this model is used by all major central banks.
