The Importance of Friendship in the US

A recent development in an ongoing US trade story. Three days ago, Indonesia's coordinating minister of maritime affairs and investments said that the country plans to propose a trade arrangement with the U.S. That deal would allow businesses from Indonesia to benefit from US electric vehicle tax credits. Trade guys, is this deal similar to the one that the US signed with Japan last month? Well, it's hard to say, mostly because Indonesia doesn't have a battery industry.
