The bond market is a broad based information system, sort of like big data. That is situated very close to the real economy. It actually is the big banks who run the monetary system as it is currently constituted. The federal reserve does not have much of an impact on on yields. All you need to do is look at a yield chartand to know that the federal Reserve does not havemuch of an impact in this area. And if we're moving into a second great inflation and bon yields are not moving and anticipating a second grate inflation, why not? What has changed?
