How Did Villonie Break Off and Form Her Own Party?
Villonie is 29. She enters parliament as an MP with the National Alliance and was quickly seen as a very bright young politician. In 2008 she becomes the Minister for Youth in a government led by Sylvia Bellasconi. But her flamboyant career was plagued by allegations of corruption and sex scandals. When did she break off and form her own party? How does that come about? That was a few years later. And she's kind of out in the wilderness politically, but she's stuck with it. Her poll ratings rocket rising to a point where a quarter of Italians have now said they'll vote for her.
