When i joined the marine corps, my strategic goal was to make sergeant. And then when i made what i was commissioned, I was looking at a selection rate to major o four is like 65%. That's a good goal. It's just one of those things, you know, it's better to be lucky than good. So i was in the right spot, you know,. i was on some great missions, and and and then up, basically, i made one start, and it was,you know, it was an honor, and i'm glad, im glad, you know., it happened. He says he retired about two months shy of his forty-oneth birthday.
