The Subaudible Voice of the Earth
Last week we heard the sounds of distant earthquakes recorded by hydrophones anchored to the bottom of the ocean. This week scientists attending the annual meeting of the acoustical society of America are hearing sounds or rather infra sounds recorded in an opposite realm of the planet. These sounds are really the subaudible voice of the earth. They're coming from natural and artificial sources.
