The Genetic Risk Score in Gout
In this study, you developed this thing called a polygenic risk score. Can you bring us up to speed on what that is? In previous studies, if individual genetic effects on outcomes in Gout have been studied individually against the outcome. We will combine them into one single score. At any particular gene that confers risk to Gout, there will be a specific allele that increases your risk.
