The Code of Conduct for the Supreme Court

Each Supreme Court justice is the judge in their own cause as to ethics violations. The code of conduct for U.S. judges only governs lower district courts and federal appeals courts. It does not apply to Supreme Court justices, which violates a judicial principle so old that it comes in a Latin. Nemo Judex in Sua Cowsa never a judge in his own cause.
