Despite the Bus, Your Book Is Called Despite the Bus

Despite the Bus is a cautionary tale about technology's influence on learning and relationships. The main character, Miss Gabby, is named after a teacher that I worked with who passed away from cancer. She is based on my own experience in part; we do share some values but also are different in many ways.
