Teaching People to Write Online

We're trying to figure out how to teach people to write online. That's hard because it's so difficult to grade essays, especially if they're bad. We'd like to introduce an element of competition into the writing process which I think can make acquiring information exciting. And we want to do the same thing with people's ability to speak so they should be able to upload videos and have them rated in the same way.
