How to Trigger Shortcuts on the iPad?
You can add shortcuts to the assistive touch menu, which means that you don't need to switch back to your widget or your home screen. And another trigger is Bluetooth connection. I've been experimenting with this for looking the time that I work on different projects that work this week. It's pretty useful. If the NFC tags were working, I'd probably still be working with an NFC tag. But that's being a bit wonky for me.
