Thad mumford had an up and down ear working as a screen writer in los angeles. And he lived right near a young painter named jean michel basquat. Jean michel also had a tortured career. He died far too young. In 19 82, he was affiliated with the gegosian gallery, about as fancy as you can get,. But his neighbor pays him less than ten thousand dollars to buy these 25 paintings.
