Is the European Union a Fore to the Europe?

In 19 79, the e r m was set up. We joind enthusiastically. The european union split between two camps. One was clled the monetris camp and one was called the economist camp. This is a serious threat that this econony will be derailed or get back just before we move on. What we really need is to have monetary union a fore to the europe. And if we can have monitary union, led by germany, that monitary union,. because exchange races will be fixed, will lead to more trade  and ultimately, politics will follow.
