Christian Novels - Frank Paretti's Books Are Not Manuals
Frank paretti's books are essentially fantasy novels that, unfortunately, a lot of evangelicals in this era read and took almost as manuals. Yet to simplify it, these books present spiritual warfare and cultural warfare as synonymous. The vox writers say paretti most likely meant much of this fantasy to be read metaphorically, not literally,. But his audience missed that memo, right? And i think that kind of goes without saying. It's kind like how we look at a like how much of our view of angels or even hell, is based on mediaeval art and not actual scripture.
