The Relationship Between Lunatic and Lunatic

The ancient romans had a moon goddess named luna. She was thought to have great power, and the phases of the moon were thought to reflect changes in her mood. So people who acted abnormally or crazy were thought to be under the influence of luna. And again, this was thought to be connected to the moon in some way. This condition has come to be known as lunacy.
