The Old Testament Canon Was Already Closed by Christ

Gospel authors also seem to affirm the canon of their day, and they do this by quoting Jesus directly. Luke 24 reads, These are my words that I spoke to you while I was still with you,. That everything written about me in the law of Moses and the prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled. Then he opened their minds to understand the scriptures. So Jesus seems to endorse the same threefold biblical canon which excluded the book of Enoch. His utterance about the righteous blood from the blood of Abel to the blood of Zachariah is found in Matthew 23 35 and Luke 1151.
