The Stelliferous Era of the Universe

Evan Davis: We're really spoiled by our universe. There's a Septilian stars out there and they're geysers of tapable energy. If you want to live in the way that you've grown accustomed to, then building a civilization around a black hole and harvesting its energy is going to be the way to go. That's about a hundred trillion years in the future. This is the degenerate era. It's sad. But hey, it's going to suck and it would be cool to see it though.
