The Media's Role in Missing Person Cases

Sage was last seen at the Amtrak station in February of 2013. Her body was recovered 36 days after she went missing. Sage's family felt like, why didn't my daughter get the same attention? Why does the media pick and choose who they care about who deserves attention? It's really frustrating because there are so many cases that people will send me and be like, please talk about this. This needs coverage. And there's no information. There is not a single article on them. But I truly believe that the change is going to start with the media, normalizing, talking about all missing persons cases, especially local media.
