We all want someone who is our person despite being scared of being hurt again. It's a theory known as classical conditioning, as humans we are primed to avoid pain and suffering. Our journey through a breakup can actually be mapped on to this stages of grief that psychologists typically use to explain our reaction to death or the loss. I'm going to walk us through each stage.
