Getting Real Astronomical Data
I'm a little worried about the distance between the raw data that's being collected and then these finished, polished, touched up pictures that are presented for public consumption. It kind of feels like when you see a movie that's based on real events but i'm always wondering now which parts are real and which parts aren't. Ar my worries about this sort of thing unfounded, that these really are light wave links. But it has to be translated into something that we can see. So this is philosopher question here. Are we you mean, how how far away from the rea reality do these pictures go? We're never sure what's real any more.
