How to Launch an Emerging Markets Index
We use a rules-based methodology. The first thing is you need to be an emerging markets Internet company. It's market cap weighted with an 8% limit on the largest holding so that helps us maintain diversification. As long as the companies are emerging market Internet companies, as long as they meet our minimums, we'll own them. We rebalance the index and the funds that track it twice a year in June in December.
