Alex was kidnapped by the Voffee 13 years ago out in L.A. He escaped but his ability was never the same. By the time he got into the A.M.'s hands, his power was eating him alive. Ben thought they were going to do to Ben what they did to Alex? Who's Alex? An old friend. And a newer friend of mine. The member we met in L.S.A. was part of a tiny faction on the west coast. It seemed like the death rattle of an ancient conspiracy cult. Nothing that could pose a real large-scale threat.
