The Self Does Not Do Anything, but Appropriate to It All These Acts
We are not actually the doer, but we seem to be the doer because of our identification with this body of mind. The self is put with capital S, implying our real nature. Our real nature does not do anything, but it does not appropriate appropriate to itself these acts. That's what Bhagavan would have meant there, but it's just not being recorded very clearly. And that's what the problem, what you talked about earlier, the translations might not just be the experience.
