The flight data recorder recording was 13 degrees nose down, making a nine degree nose down shift. The ants b examined the maintenance work performed to see whether any of the work resulted in the airplane's restricted downward or movement. Part of the maintenance check that they had done two days before this incident was checking the tension of the elevator control system cables and then adjusting that tension.
