CP Plus is a CCTV camera brand that was also one of the main sponsors of Big Boss. 80% of its supplies for manufacturing as well as trading activities come from Chinese surveillance equipment manufacturer, Dawa Technology. HIC Vision and another major Chinese security tech manufacturer are facing regulatory reaction in the US, UK and Australia because of their close links to China. But restraining these companies is not as easy as you might think. It is a very tricky policy challenge for the Indian government.
